News - Starlettos at the 63rd Primetime Emmys®

Kate Winslet, Gwyneth Paltrow, the stars of Mad Men, Modern Family and Glee...were all in the running for an Emmy® award at the 63rd annual awards in California on American TV's "Night of Nights", but while only one Nominee per category could win an Emmy®, all the others received their first ever pair of Starlettos.  We think we can say that Starlettos are now officially the "Heel Protector of the Stars".      

How did this happen?  Well every year, the Nominees at the Emmys® receive a little gift-bag.  In each bag is a hand-selected group of gifts considered appropriate for America's biggest TV stars.  This year, the unique and fun design of Starlettos brought them to the attention of the selectors and 50 intrepid little pairs made their way across the pond to grace the heels of the Emmys® nominees.

Were we excited? Just a little bit! Only 4 years ago, the only pair of Starlettos you could have seen were strutting their stuff on an old pair of heels on a nature-strip somewhere in Sydney...now they're in Hollywood!
